Rental cabins abound in the Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountains area and each one is unique. There are cabins conducive to romantic getaways, pet-friendly cabins and, of course, kid-friendly cabins. If you have children, you know how important it is — for them and for you — to keep them engaged and entertained. A number of Gatlinburg cabins offer amenities that will allow you to do just that. Here are a few that caught our eye:

  • All Fun and Games – The name of this property alone promises a child-friendly experience. Entertainment options for young and old alike include basketball, Skeeball and foosball games, ping pong and hockey tables. There are also two televisions in the game room and a Playstation 2 gaming console. All Fun and Games sleeps up to 10 guests.
  • Splash Mansion – One of several Gatlinburg cabins with indoor swimming pools, Splash Mansion also offers a rock-climbing wall, bunk-beds and a big screen TV.  This property,

located four miles from downtown Gatlinburg, is a great option if you are traveling with a large group, since it sleeps up to 15 people. A word of warning: with a cabin like this, debating whether to stay in or go out and explore becomes a lot more difficult — in a good way.

  • Bear Loads of Fun – Up to eight people can stay in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin. Child-friendly amenities include arcade games (Pac-Man!) an air-hockey table and a theater room.
